This involves helping organizations to improve operational performance in areas of profitability, internal control development, improvement and implementation, advising organisations on compliance with statutory obligations with various laws such as the Companies' Act, Close Corporations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act and other industry specific laws.
As Accounting officers, we are called upon in terms of the Close Corporation Act 69 of 1984, to review the appropriateness of the accounting policies applied in the preparation of financial statements, to ensure the close corporations' records have been kept by the members and many other duties as stated in the Close Corporations Act. Acting as Accounting Officers NPO in terms of NPO Act 71 of 1997. Accounting officers in terms of Schools Act 84 of 1996.
Provide information that will assist management in making informed decisions.This includes amongst others management reports to allow the business to perform costs control, variance analysis, costing, budgeting and forecasting and financial modeling.
